Wellness Should
Feel Personal.
As a family-owned, community-rooted spa in Oxford, Maine, Essence is not a chain or franchise. It is a warm, welcoming space built for real people with real stress, busy schedules, sore muscles, tired skin, and full lives.

Kirsten has been in the wellness industry for over 10 years. She graduated from Spa Tech Institute for Massage Therapy in 2013 and Aesthetics in 2015. Her massage style focuses on relaxation with moderate pressure and deeper techniques when needed, always paying extra attention to the areas that need it most. She also has a true passion for skincare and helping clients feel confident in their own skin.

When she is not at the spa, Kirsten is spending time with her three kiddos and family. Through Essence Wellness Spa, she looks forward to getting to know each client personally and helping them reach their wellness and self-care goals.

From custom massage and facials to infrared sauna, foot soaks, body treatments, waxing, and lash and brow services, every appointment is designed to help you feel lighter, calmer, and more like yourself.

At Essence Wellness Spa, we understand what you are carrying.

We are here to help you put some of it down.
